CMIS 295 — Cloud Security

(formerly CIS 223) Covers the essentials of the cloud security technologies, mechanisms, and standards/frameworks as outlined by Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cloud Computing Security Standards. Surveys cloud governance, certification compliance, and accreditation. Students learn to analyze risk in cloud environments and cloud security solutions, create and secure public and private cloud instances, and secure cloud applications.
