CMTE 130 — Materials & Methods of Construction

(formerly CON 132) Provides the construction manager with a fundamental understanding of materials and methods of construction. Emphasizes properties of materials, engineering methods, construction methods, testing methods, and related building codes. This course focuses on soil, earthwork, foundations, paving, concrete, masonry, thermal products, roofing, wood construction, steel construction, exterior and interior finishes, glazing, windows, doors, exterior wall systems, cladding, interior walls/partitions, finish ceilings, and flooring.
