COMM 101 — Introduction to Communication Studies
(formerly CMSP 101) Introduces students to the basic theories and practical applications of human communication as it relates to their communication experiences. These include interpersonal situations, intercultural experiences, small group interactions, and public communication. Students will be given opportunities to develop their effectiveness in the speaking-listening communicative setting as well as develop knowledge of the communication process as a system.
