COMM 201 — Foundations of Communication Theory
(formerly CMSP 201) Provides students with an understanding of the principle theories related to the field of communication. Specifically, it introduces students to the study of communication theory and provides them with the conceptual and theoretical foundation needed to succeed as a communication scholar. Concepts and theories learned in this course will be studied in greater detail in the upper level courses required of the major.
