ECED 135 — Infants & Toddlers Development and Care
(formerly ECD 106) Examines the best practices designed to meet the needs of infants and toddlers as related to their physical growth and development, mental health, and human relationships. Attention will be given to the family and child's multicultural customs, gender equity, and children with special needs, while insuring quality program development and implementation in out of home care environments. Content will focus on the caregiver, the child, and the program being provided to meet the learning needs of the infant and toddler. This course meets the state requirements of Office of Child Care Licensing and Credentialing for Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher.
