ECED 205 — Administration of Child Development Centers
(formerly ECD 212) Designed to provide students with management skills necessary to operate an early childhood center, family child care or before/after school program that serves children from infancy through age twelve. Topics include program policies and procedures, government regulations, finance and budget, facility operation, personnel management, health and safety, accreditation systems, and program evaluation and improvement. This course meets the state requirements of Office of Child Care licensing and credentialing for School Age and Preschool Director.
