ENGL 212 — Newswriting and Reporting
(formerly EN 212) Provides instruction and practice in news reporting and in the fundamentals of newswriting. Professional news stories in newspapers, magazines, and the Web will be analyzed and evaluated. The course concentrates on key rhetorical elements, organization, and structure of common news, features, and opinion articles, both in print and digital news mediums.
