FEMA 159 — National Preparedness Frameworks: Prevention, Protection, and Response

(formerly FEM 159) Introduces the National Prevention, Protection, and Response Frameworks as both guiding documents and interlocking components in service of the broader National Preparedness System. Investigates the doctrine, stakeholders, and core capabilities prescribed for each Framework's mission area, with particular focus on those principles or partners deemed necessary across multiple Frameworks. Orients students to the coordinating structures responsible for executing Framework elements, and explores the ways by which various processes and organizations work to fill those roles.
