FEMA 188 — Critical Infrastructure Protection

(formerly FEM 188) Introduces the conceptual foundations of critical infrastructure, its importance, and the process of developing and implementing plans for its protection. Exposes students to Federal guidance and policy, with particular focus on the National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP). Discusses fundamental concepts of risk management. Explores the types of threats critical infrastructure may face, and methods for effectively mitigating or otherwise responding to them.
