HIST 212 — Civil War

(formerly HI 212) Examines the causes of the Civil War, the constitutional crisis confronting the Union, the conduct of the war by both the Union and Confederacy, the economic and social conditions of the homefront, the status and condition of African Americans and the wartime origins of Reconstruction.
