HUMS 207 — Theory and Practice of Group Counseling

(formerly HS 207) Presents the theory and practice of using groups as a counseling intervention in the human services. There will be a presentation of types of groups, general principles of groups, stages of evolution of groups, ethical and professional issues, and special emphasis on the use of groups in the drug and alcohol field.
