MUSC 251 — Class Piano III
(formerly MU 251) Continues material presented in Class Piano II. New keyboard skills include scales and chord progressions in simple minor keys as well as more complicated major keys. Students will learn and perform two-hand repertoire featuring melody and various types of chord accompaniments to a basic standard. Elements of keyboard technique will continue to be developed. Regular individual practice on a keyboard/piano is expected.
