Provides a core of courses which enables the student to transfer to a four-year college and major in computer science. Includes courses in mathematics and computer science comparable to those offered in the first two years of a four-year college’s computer science major. Trains students in the fundamentals of programming as practiced by professionals, emphasizing skills that are basic and enduring, so as to prepare them for transfer to a four-year school and/or a career in industry.
