Introduces planning theories, methodologies, and strategies with practical applications from local and other urban communities. Topics include municipal planning, land use and zoning, circulation, water and waste water management, storm drainage and public utility services. Examines the economic development process, environmental and legal issues and focuses on the interdependent nature of development. Prerequisites: None.
