Theory and application of advanced skin care modalities, resurfacing, and cosmetic chemistry. Hair removal techniques, makeup application, and an introduction to body treatments are also included. Application of theory and skills through treatment services provided to the public. Focus on communication and documentation to create customized treatment plans and product recommendations for clients that follow all safety and infection control procedures in compliance with the Arizona Barbering and Cosmetology Board (BCB). Prerequisites: EST102 with a grade of 80% or better, or Program Manager's approval.
