HMC213 — CPT and HCPCS Coding
This course provides students with the foundation for using the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and the Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) coding systems. Topics include coding guidelines, healthcare reimbursement, coding technologies, ethical coding, and compliance issues. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better is required in HMC208 or HMC208DC.
