Focuses on nursing care of individuals/families requiring the integration of complex concepts of nursing related to psychiatric and medical/surgical disorders throughout the lifespan. Includes math computational skills, basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care; psychiatric, respiratory, regulatory, endocrine and hematological disorders. Uses all concepts of the nursing process with increasing degrees of skill. Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing laboratories and/or cooperating agencies.
