DENT 115 — Head, Neck, and Oral Anatomy
The majority of this course presents content in head, neck, focusing on osteology of the skull, muscles, nerves, and arteries of the head and neck, salivary glands, and the temporomandibular joint. Basic human anatomy and physiology concepts are also covered to provide the student an overall foundation to the dental sciences. Students successfully completing this course will be able to apply basic head and neck anatomic theory to laboratory and clinical settings.
