DENT 237 — Gerontology & Patients with Special Needs
This course provides preparation for clinical experiences with geriatric and patients with special needs. The course will explore the aging process from a physical, social, psychological, and financial perspective as well as the disease processes of special needs individuals. Emphasis will be placed on accommodation and innovative management of special needs/systemic diseases that are presented during client dental treatment.
