Welding Technology (CAS)
With an emphasis on safety, students will receive extensive hands-on, theoretical, and technical training covering various Cutting and Welding Processes such as: Oxy-Fuel Cutting (OFC), Plasma Arc Cutting (PAC), Air Carbon Arc Cutting (CAC-A), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding(GTAW), all while training/inspecting to the strict codes and procedures of the American Welding Society (AWS). Under the guidance of experienced welding professionals, students will demonstrate cutting and welding skills, interpret industrial blueprints and demonstrate fabrication techniques needed by entry level technicians into the
