IS 238 - Information Systems Fieldwork IS 238 - Information Systems Fieldwork Credit Hour(s): 3 ( 0 , 0 ) This course is designed for students seeking a career in the Information Science environment. Students will be placed as interns in a local business or with HCCC’s Academic Computing Services totaling 120 hours. The fieldwork will consist of students applying their computer skills to accomplish various tasks. This course is open to fourth semester Information Science majors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in Information Science courses. Students must obtain the sponsorship of a faculty member before registering for the course.
