MA 127D - Introduction to Statistics - Plus MA 127D - Introduction to Statistics - Plus Credit Hour(s): 3 ( 3 , 2 ) This course is designed to explore topics from descriptive and inferential statistics: graphing, measures of central tendency and variation, probability, Central Limit Theorem, estimation, the binomial distribution, the normal distribution, and statistical inference. The laboratory provides hands-on technology experience using a statistical software package (Excel preferred). This course has an additional contact hour focused on teaching students non-cognitive skills and providing additional with foundational math concepts.
