MA 133 - Trigonometry MA 133 - Trigonometry Credit Hour(s): 3 ( 3 , 0 ) The purpose of this course is to introduce and study the properties of the trigonometric functions. This course is designed to use many skills necessary for success in calculus and other advanced mathematics and science courses. Emphasis will be placed on understanding trigonometric functions in a unit circle and a right triangle, their graphs and inverses along with applications. Identities, solving equations, as well as spherical trigonometric form of a complex number will be taught. The course concludes with polar equations and their graphs. Prerequisite(s): MA 130 or equivalent
