COMX 234 - Mass Media COMX 234 - Mass Media 3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) Examines the impact of print and electronic media on the American environment. Introduces several media theories and examines both the application of these theories to the different media and the impact of the media on society. Particular attention is given to how media consumers can become better informed and able to assess their media environment intelligently. Course generally 2nd semester.
