COMX 442W - History, Technology, and Communication COMX 442W - History, Technology, and Communication 3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) Technical communication involves both the communication of technical information and the use of technologies to communicate. As civilizations change over time, increasing demands are placed on the ability to manipulate information. In this course, we shall examine both the cognitive maps cultures construct to communicate and the manner in which these maps profoundly alter human nature. (STET) Satisfies upper division Writing core. Course generally 2nd semester.
