ECIV 307 - Construction Bidding and Estimating ECIV 307 - Construction Bidding and Estimating 3 credits Hrs.: 3 Lec Teaches students to read plans and perform quality take-offs from plans. Quantities then result in cost estimates. Dirt moving and costs are presented in detail. Students will develop construction activities determining cycle times, loading characteristics, and cost of operation. Scheduling processes are introduced. Prerequisite(s): ECIV 208
