EELE 355 - Electric Machine Fundamentals EELE 355 - Electric Machine Fundamentals 3 credits (Hrs: 2 Lec., 3 Lab) This course covers advanced topics in AC three phase power, DC generators and motors, AC synchronous alternators and motors including line synchronization, transformers, motor drives, and induction machines used as motors and generators. Laboratory exercises support lecture material and include motor and generator control, speed control, testing, trouble shooting, and torque-speed characteristics. Course generally 1st semester.
