EGEN 306 - Mechanics of Materials Laboratory EGEN 306 - Mechanics of Materials Laboratory 1 credit (Hrs: 3 Lab) The course includes one measurement technique refresher lab followed by several strength-of-material labs that address concrete, wood, metals and composite materials. The end of the semester will concentrate on Mechanics of Materials concepts such as stress types, cross-sectional moment of inertia, and beam deflection predictions. Course generally both semesters.
