EGEN 324 - Applied Thermodynamics EGEN 324 - Applied Thermodynamics 3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) The study of energy and its transformation, the processes involved and properties of the substances employed. Topics include the first and second laws of thermodynamics, enthalpy, entropy, available energy, ideal gases, the phases of pure substances, mixtures and psychometry. Selected applications are covered as time permits. Course generally both semesters.
