EGEN 465 - Mechatronic Design EGEN 465 - Mechatronic Design 3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) The design of Mechatronic systems which requires the integration of mechanical and electrical engineering through a unified framework. This will include low-level interfacing of software with hardware, use of high-level graphical programming tools to implement real-time computation tasks, digital logic, analog interfacing and power amplifiers, measurement and sensing, electromagnetic and optical transducers, and control of mechatronic systems. Students will be able to perform the necessary design calculations for an integrated electromechanical system.
