EMEC436 — Computational Fluid Dynamics

EMEC 436 - Computational Fluid Dynamics EMEC 436 - Computational Fluid Dynamics 3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) This course is intended to be an introduction to the principles and practice of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for the senior-level engineering student. The students will develop a good understanding of CFD theory, the governing equations, and the computational solution techniques that can be used for the solution of many fluid dynamic problems. The course will provide introductory-level knowledge to build upon and successfully develop and apply CFD models while understanding the limitations of the model used.

Prerequisites: EGEN324, EMEC320, EGEN335
