EMEC 519 - Mechanics of Composite Materials EMEC 519 - Mechanics of Composite Materials 3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) The course provides students a background in modern composite materials and how their usage differs from conventional materials. Students will be able to compute effective properties of composites, predict displacement/stress/strain of lamina and laminates under mechanical and hygrothermal loads.
