EMET 280 - M&ME Safety & Health EMET 280 - M&ME Safety & Health 1 credit (Hrs: 1 Lec.) The practice of engineering requires a basic understanding of good safety and industrial hygiene practices. Students will be introduced to safety and occupational health agencies, rules, regulations and practices. specific examples of common standard operating procedures that are required for a safe workplace will be presented. The safety practices of the M&ME Department will be analyzed. Course generally 2nd semester.
