EMET 541 - Metallurgical & Materials Flowsheet Design EMET 541 - Metallurgical & Materials Flowsheet Design 3 credits (Hrs: 2 Lec., 3 Lab) The principles for flowsheet development, mass flow calculations and economic estimations are presented. The student is required to select a metallurgical, materials, or hazardous waste treatment process, and develop an interactive flowsheet model of the process that includes mass distributions, equipment sizing, and a first order estimate of the capital and operating costs.
