GEOE 512 - Geophysics in Mineral Exploration GEOE 512 - Geophysics in Mineral Exploration 3 credits (Hrs: 3 Lec.) The Geophysics in Mineral Exploration course offers a comprehensive review of the geophysical methods utilized in the search for mineral deposits. Participants will learn the fundamental principles of each method detailed below and develop the skills needed to effectively explore concealed mineral deposits, with a strong focus on critical minerals. Participants will learn how to design, conduct, and interpret geophysical surveys using the following methods: magnetics, hyperspectral imaging and LiDAR, radiometric, electrical and electromagnetic (EM), seismic and gravity.
