This course covers pertinent laws and regulations pertaining to the mine permitting process. Emphasis is placed on technologies and systems design for site specific environmental protection and operations environmental management. Economic impacts will be considered as part of each design component. Electronic permitting will be incorporated into the process. Course generally 2nd semester.
