WLDG 210 - Pipe Welding WLDG 210 - Pipe Welding 2 credits This course teaches the student basics of SMAW welding on pipe. This student will learn to select proper electrodes for pipe welding, discuss joint preparation and lean methods for destructive and non-destructive pipe testing. E-6010 welding electrodes will be used on root beads and E-7010/E7018 will be used on the fill and cap passes. Performance tests in this course will be conducted to the specifications of the American Petroleum Institute’s 1104 code procedures.
