The survey course leverages personality assessment tools to guide students to the building of an effective leadership style and approach that is unique to their capabilities and interests. An emphasis is placed on being self-aware enough to intentionally adopt a leadership style that aligns with one’s capabilities and value system. Leadership theory coupled with reflective self-assessment culminates in the development of a personal professional identity for students who succeed in the course.
