Fees Quarters Typically Designed to Serve TRIO requests that the Summer Bridge program serve current HCC students enrolled in TRIO. TRIO serves students that are first-generation, low-income and students that have documented disabilities. TRIO students intend to transfer to 4-year colleges. Our intention is to assist these students in preparing to transition and transfer on to a 4-year college. The course will provide an opportunity for students to explore college success strategies, build community and develop the skills necessary to become a master student. Specific emphasis will be placed on identity development, campus resources, success strategies, study skills, transfer information and cross cultural communication.
