First, hospitality applications breaks software and hardware into three distinct sections: applications guests use, applications team members use, and applications managers use for strategic functions. Secondly, technology management includes strategic planning and system selection. Finally, core technologies includes infrastructure, technology systems, and systems security. The final exam in this course is an opportunity for students to earn their CHTP designation (Certified Hospitality Technology Professional).
