PE 246 - Pilates PE 246 - Pilates 1 Credits Pilates is a body-conditioning technique designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. Pilates targets the deep postural muscles within the body through a series of exercises aimed at building muscle strength and rebalancing the body. Describe effective conditioning strategies for each component of fitness (cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition). Apply the F.I.T.T. principle to design and implement an appropriate fitness plan. Assess and demonstrate an improvement in one or more of the health-related physical fitness components (cardiorespiratory endurance, body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, or flexibility). Adhere to a regular physical activity pattern.
