RC 208 - Respiratory Care Therapeutics I RC 208 - Respiratory Care Therapeutics I 2 Credits The course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of patient assessment with a focus on respiratory care. The lecture setting of the course will provide the theoretical content of topics covered in RC 112 (Sophomore Lab) which is to be taken simultaneously in the first quarter of the program. A review of the pulmonary system combined with its correlated clinical findings is central to the course. Related cardiac physiology and its interaction with the lungs is also reviewed. The course is further enhanced with an overview of various Diagnostic techniques used in the Respiratory Care patient.
