RC 249 - Respiratory Care Simulation IV RC 249 - Respiratory Care Simulation IV 1 Credits This course is designed to provide simulated clinical experiences for learners based on their level of learning in the Respiratory Care program. Each quarter students will work in the simulation lab practicing tools and techniques on simulated patients. The course is designed to both prepare students for clinical experience as well as them integrate theory into practice in a safe environment. In this quarter Students will integrate prior skills in patient assessment, treatment and data gathering to provide care to more complex patients. Students may be presented with more complicated diagnostic information along with more complicated patient histories. We continue to build on themes from prior quarters in the setting of Acute care, Emergency care and utilize more advanced patient monitoring.
