The Firefighter I & II certification is an in-demand certificate program at Hocking College and can be earned in just 8 weeks! Our students apply direct, hands-on firefighting skills to live fire, develop communication skills, as well as developing decision-making skills in life like emergencies and learning to operate our fire trucks including our new engine. With our experienced certified instructors and hands-on practice our students are well prepared for the career they have chosen.
