RDL122 — Radiation Physics, Instrumentation, and Image Production 1
Add to HCC Favorites This course provides students with an introduction to Radiologic Technology and the basic knowledge needed to practice radiation safety, manipulate x-ray equipment, and produce radiographic images. Students will be taught various formulae and perform calculations associated with radiography. Topics include: the nature of radiation, atomic structure, units of measurement, basic radiation protection, radiographic equipment, x-ray production, x-ray interaction with matter, and radiation exposure factors.
