VET248 — Animal Nursing II
Add to HCC Favorites MassTransfer Block Code: This course is primarily concerned with the principles of veterinary surgical nursing. It provides students with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience necessary to assist in anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry. Areas of concentration include injectable and inhalation anesthesia, anesthetic monitoring, pain management, dental care and dental radiology, care of the surgical patient throughout the perioperative period from surgical preparation through anesthetic recovery, surgical assistance, and maintenance of the surgical suite. All fees are subject to change. Note: Restricted to Veterinary Technician students. Current tetanus vaccination, current rabies vaccination, and proof of health insurance coverage are required.
