CSR 92 — CUNY Start: DEVELOPMENTAL READ
CSR 92 is a CUNY START reading course designed to help students develop strategies from improving comprehension through discussions of and written responses to cross disciplinary texts. Students will learn to become active readers, to summarize and explain their understanding of ideas, and to support their analysis with appropriate references to the readings. By the end of the semester, students will have acquired strategies for improving their reading speed and their close reading skills, and for performing successfully on the CUNY/ACT reading test.
