EDU 121 — Home, School, and Community

The students will study various aspects of parent-teacher-child relationships, including an understanding of parents as people with values, goals, individual background and needs to be met. Communication processes, group dynamics and leadership styles will also be studied. Attention is given to strategies and tactics used by school districts, community groups, and private sector organizations to support academic, health, and social goals for children and their families.
