ENG 89 — Basic Writing I
This course introduces incoming students to the composing process. Students will write essays in response to classroom discussions and assigned readings at the college level. Emphasis is on principles of grammar, sentence structure, and paragraph development. Students will learn strategies to develop academic vocabulary and proofreading and editing skills.
