RE 98 — Reading Workshop
This workshop will help students develop strategies for improving reading comprehension and passing the CUNY Reading test. During the workshop students will engage in discussions of, and written responses to, cross disciplinary texts. They will learn to become active readers by summarizing and explaining their understanding of ideas, supporting their analysis with appropriate references to the readings, and acquiring strategies for improving their reading speed and close reading skills. After successful completion of the workshop, students will have the opportunity to re-test.
